My Approach to Counseling
In my counseling practice, I focus on helping clients align their actions with what truly matters to them. Whether it’s service, adventure, relationships, security, faith, or any other meaningful value, I work with each person to identify those core motivations and take practical steps toward living them out. This approach isn’t about trying to force happiness or erase discomfort—it’s about moving toward a rich, full, and meaningful life, even when difficult thoughts and emotions show up along the way.
I aim to create a safe, supportive space where people feel genuinely heard and understood. From there, we work collaboratively to make each session count. In addition to processing thoughts and emotions, we’ll get specific about actions that support your goals and values. I want you to leave each session feeling like something helpful happened, whether that’s a new insight, a practical strategy, or a sense of clarity about what’s next.
My goal is to help clients build lives that reflect who they want to be—not by controlling their inner experiences, but by changing their relationship with them. When anxiety, self-doubt, or old patterns show up, we won’t try to argue with them or push them away. Instead, we’ll learn how to make space for them without letting them drive the bus. The result? More freedom to act in ways that align with what matters most.
Therapy with me is active, personalized, and deeply values-driven. If you're ready to explore what it looks like to live with more intention, integrity, and peace—I’m here to walk with you through that journey.
